Job Summary

Sequent is a closed-loop industrial operating system. Five companies (Melds, Kreate, Krevera, Configure, and FASTER) operate as one sequential process spanning resin, manufacturing, AI, brand, and product innovation. We scaled from $40M to nearly $600M in gross revenue in thirty-six months. We acquired four companies. We launched seven facilities. Our engineering team averages over ten years of industrial experience with zero attrition since founding. None of that happened by accident. It happened because someone was running the deal pipeline while the factories were running the presses.

You will lead acquisition sourcing, due diligence, and integration across the Sequent platform. You report directly to the founder and work alongside finance leadership to identify targets that extend our closed-loop thesis. Companies that fill a gap in the lifecycle, not companies that look good in a pitch deck.

Responsabilities

  • Build and manage the active acquisition pipeline, identifying targets across resin, manufacturing, packaging, brand, and distribution

  • Lead financial and operational due diligence from LOI through close, coordinating with legal, finance, and operations

  • Develop integration playbooks that bring acquired companies onto the Sequent infrastructure within 90 days

  • Model post-acquisition economics including capacity utilization, margin contribution, and synergy realization

  • Maintain relationships with investment banks, brokers, and advisors across consumer products and industrial manufacturing

  • Present deal memos and strategic rationale to the founder and executive team

Requisites

  • 5+ years in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity with a focus on industrials or consumer products

  • Demonstrated track record of closing and integrating acquisitions in manufacturing or adjacent sectors

  • Strong financial modeling skills. You build your own models, you do not delegate them.

  • Comfort operating in a founder-led, high-velocity environment where decisions are made in days, not quarters

  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred but not required if the deal sheet speaks for itself
